If the staples are from an injury that resulted in the skin breaking open, you should have them removed by a doctor after a week to ten days, or whenever the doctor determines that the wound has healed. Leaving them in would result in the skin healing around them and would likely cause pain with certain types of movement.
If you’re nervous about how much it will hurt to have them removed, call your doctor and ask the nurse if there is something they can prescribe you for the day of removal to help with the pain.
If the staples got there some other way, you’d definitely want to consult a doctor.
Well take piercings or a sliver for instance.. After time your body tries to rid itself of foreign objects.. So it will on its own start to push it out.. A great example is an eye brow piercing.. After years it start to push the metal out, make the holes closer and closer to the surface. You can always make an appointment, or if your low on cash go to the E.R and they will bill ya.. If it hurts, get it checked out
Why is she scared? Medics don’t just pull them out with pliers. They will give her sedatives or pain relief if she needs that.
If she doesn’t have them out, her body will begin to reject them and start pushing the staples out by itself. Tell her that half in and out staples pushing out of her flesh is NOT a good look.. It will probably be painful as the longer they are in, the more her skin will grow over them, causing tears and possible infections.
